How to boost your Website Loading Speed?

Published Jan 15, 2024

Hi Friends,

As you already know your Website Loading Speed directly affects your Online Business. A faster loading website generates more traffic & leads, and faster loading speeds also help a website to lower its bounce rate. It is better to get more serious about Website Loading Speed, or your visitors may skip to other websites, and it will increase your website bounce rate, which obviously nobody wants.

In this post, we have discussed six ways to boost your website loading speeds:

  1. Choose your web hosting wisely: Instead of buying cheap web hosting packages, go for reliable hosting solutions with maximum up-time guaranteed, ask your hosting provider for server features. We recommend you to buy SSD hosting instead of regular shared HDD hosting, a website hosted on an SSD server loads 300 times faster than a website hosted on a shared HDD hosting, also buy a dedicated IP Address for your website with your hosting plan, IP Address doesn't have any direct role with website loading speed but it helps search engine to easily search and index your website.

  2. Development Language: While getting a website developed ask your web developer about the language or technology she will use to develop your website? believe it or not but website development technology affects your website loading speed. For example, YII 2.0 loading speed is 1 MS, while Laravel's 5.2 loading speed is 2 MS and WordPress's loading speed is 2 MS (without plugins). Also, check Best Programming Language for Website Development.

  3. Image Optimization: Website loading speed also depends on the images your website is using. A website with heavy images takes to more time to load than a website using lite weight and well-optimized images, so use images with minimum size and if possible do not use images bigger than 100 KB.

  4. Update website plugins regularly: If you are using a WordPress website, then you need to update its plugins regularly or your website will perform slow and if possible use as minimum plugins as possible.

  5. Check for broken links: Website loading speed also depends on its internal links. A website with broken links needs more time to load than a website that has no or fewer broken internal hyperlinks.

  6. Use properly aligned CSS Coding: If you are using too many CSS files you are using, then your website will take some time to load so it is better to use minimum CSS and other files.
